Ebayisajoke Helps Don Epperson family. Ebayisajoke saw the story on Fox 2 News about a local Detroit man and his kids in need of some help so he made a donation to the Don Epperson family. Don Epperson was walking the cold winter streets of Detroit salvaging wood to burn in order to keep his 4 kids warm because his electric had been turned off. The utility company (DTE) of Michigan shut off his power for lack of payment because Don Epperson lost his job.
It’s sad that Americans have to live like this with no heat or power so it was time to do my part and help this man out with a donation. I felt compelled after watching this story to help him out with a donation” says Ebayisajoke. The Don Epperson Family Fund, I think our system could take better care of people, and it’s stories like this that touch everyone’s heart. Helping someone in need is rewarding to the heart and soul. This story is proof that when we can all come together and do good for someone in our local communities.

After hearing the touching story, an anonymous donor has come forward and will pay the utility bills for Don, the Detroit father of four who was salvaging wood to heat his home.
“I’d just like to say thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart and from my children. We thank you all, we love you for what you’ve done for us. I’ve never had anybody do anything to this magnitude for myself, or even for my children,” Don says.
I firmly believe that we should be giving to our local charities because when you give to the larger ones, nobody knows if the money is actually reaching those in need. Please help someone out in your local area, there are many people out there right now without coats, food or even a place to stay for the night. The Don Epperson Family Fund is a great cause and I feel good about giving.
