An eBay motors seller lists a 1981 Corvette for a friend on his seller account and then gets suspended instantly. When he states he’s selling the classic car for a friend eBay puts him on hold for over 30 minutes then drops the call. The seller logs into his eBay account and discovers his account has been suspended MC001 or MC999. The seller tells his story on YouTube in a video titled “Why I’ll Never Use eBay Motors Again”. The seller’s ability to do business online now has been permanently damaged by eBay due to their abusive verification policies. eBay Motors sucks and so does their offshore customer service in India. If you reach offshore customer service just hang up and keep calling back until you get a domestic help center. These fools known as eBay will never learn.
- Worst Customer Service by eBay ever
- There was no positive resolution or outcome
- Offshore Rep asked for Supplier Information on a car listing
- eBay loses another honest seller and future fees for investors
- Guardrail purged over 2 million sellers between 2004-2019
“I just experienced the worst customer service EVER from eBay Motors. I literally could have called someone at random and gotten better answers. I really wish I had recorded the call. I know eBay did and I hope they’ll listen to it. This is a long video and I left out a lot of the details from this call for the sake of time. Hope you have a better experience than I did. (If you don’t know the answer to a question, “I don’t know” is the correct answer).”
eBay did listen to your call and they don’t care. Their online trolls will also post messages to you stating that you listed a car for someone else and didn’t own the car and therefore you deserved the account suspension/termination. eBay has been destroying the online ecommerce marketplace (the one they monopolize) forever now. Terminating honest sellers for things they don’t realize their doing. You could littley cough or sneeze and find your account terminated now for no reason. MrBulletPoints Published the following video in June of 2018, has his account been reinstated yet?
