eBay customer service voice changers are used at eBay call centers all over the world to fool you
Contacting eBay customer service can be a nightmare especially when you have to be connected to the Philippines to get help as a seller. Have you ever called eBay customer support many times and always seem to get the same sounding lady or guy then on top of that they read from a script and can’t help you anyway. well that’s because not only are your calls being routed outside the United States and over to the Philippines to inexperienced customer sabotage representatives, but their call centers are using special voice changer software to change the sound of their voice to make you think they are more friendly and also so that they can’t be identified by anyone. US Customers are being fooled. Working at eBay is kind of like working for a secrete government society where they make the rules and if you mess up your ass is kicked out the door forever. Until now we were unable to figure out what they were using to change the sound of their voices but an ex customer service operator recently emailed me with the name of the script. The software makes their voices sound like either a man or a woman either raspy or deep sounding and allows them to sound more friendly to you so that you can better understand them. I really hate it when they laugh loud and party in the background, you can’t hear a single thing that anyone’s saying to you. eBay can’t fool us anymore and I’m honestly thinking that stealth sellers should use it when calling eBay customer service so they are un-detected by any computer voice matching system they may be using. You want to be careful that eBay doesn’t link your account else you’ll be on the outside looking in.
