List of eBay Acquisitions New Companies 2013

ebay acquisitions

This is a short list of the latest eBay acquisitions or new companies in 2013 that eBay acquired which includes GSI Commerce and the new payment platform Braintree, previously owned by Google checkout. Once PayPal heard Google was sending its customers over to BrainTree eBay bought it, Yes Google is selling out to eBay Inc. but I don’t think they knew what eBay had planned. Google never even notified its checkout customers that the new company they were sending people too was actually going to be purchased by PayPal. Once the acquisition went through Google could not legally notify it’s customers because at that point they were not Google’s customers anymore. I wonder how Google checkout customers reacted to this knowing that they just left PayPal because of all the scams and fraud, and now they have to leave BrainTree.

Why would anyone want to have anything to do with a fraudulent payment transmitter service like PayPal that caters to buyer fraud on a daily basis. Just look at all the civil law suits that are being filed on PayPal. PayPal is a scam and you will lose your money if you do business with them. They also boot people if they know you are wise to the fraud. PayPal also gets away with fraudulent chargebacks on sellers, so make sure you always request a copy of the chargeback summary if they try to claim a chargeback was filed by your buyer.

eBay Inc will continue to conduct ebay acquisitions until they can control every aspect of the payments market. I’d love to also know why are politicians are not conducting any investigations on eBay Inc and PayPal for fraud.
